ANTI-INFLAMMATORY TURMERIC SMOOTHIE




Hi friends! It's final assignments and exam time but I wanted to quickly share a brand new original smoothie recipe. This smoothie is not only delicious but it has really powerful anti-inflammatory properties! I made after researching ingredients that could reduce the amount of prostaglandins in my body that are causing me some serious cramps! It's rough being a girl sometimes but it is great to know that we have an amazing natural pharmacy all fresh from the ground!





Here are the ingredients:






• 2 oranges (peeled and cut)
• 3/4 cup of frozen mango
• 1/2 cup of frozen cranberries
• 1 banana
• 1/2 tsp. of turmeric 
*add water to achieve the consistency you like - makes approx. 1 liter.

All the ingredients I used I chose specifically for their anti-inflammatory properties, although I am using this smoothie to relieve my period cramps, you can use it for any inflammatory issues you have such as arthritis!
