JUICING FOR HEALTH SERIES: IRON-DEFICIENCY ANEMIA PART 2

In Part 1 of this topic I gave you a quick overview of what anemia is, more specifically iron-deficiency anemia. I also shared with you a list of foods that can help treat it, and promised you that I would share some of my favorite iron-packed juice recipes! So let's get to them!

APPLE-BEET-PEAR
 What you need:

  • 2 apples
  • 3 beets
  • 1 pear

BEET-CARROT-APPLE

PEACH- SWEET POTATO- APPLE
What you need:
  • 3 sweet potatoes
  • 3 apples
  • 3 peaches
  • a dash of cinnamon

GREENTORADE

What you need:
  •     cube of ginger
  •     6 celery stalks
  •      3apples
  •     a bunch of spinach
  •     juice of 1 lemon/lime

As I mentioned in the previous post, green juices are also high in both iron and calcium so feel free to try these oldies but goodies!

I want to know if any of this was helpful and if you would like me to continue to write posts like these. Maybe you could tell me what health issue to write on next? Let me know!
