Today I'm going to share with you two favorite drink recipes - one is a shake, and the other is my new favorite green juice (sorry greentorade, please don't be mad!)

First up is this purple beauty - I call her Purple Blast because she is full of antioxidants, vitamins, iron, calcium, protein, and to top it all off, it is delicious!

Here is what you'll need:
  • 1.5 cups of frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 2 tsp. of spirulina
  • 1-2 tsp. of sweetener (agave nectar, honey, stevia)
  • optional: 1 banana (you can use it instead of the sweetener for a naturally sweet shake)
Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy!
Next up is my new go to green drink, I drink enough of it that I have to make 2 liters. It is a powerful blood purifier, detoxifier, diuretic (helps to get rid of bloating due to water retention), and it is full of vitamins and goodness, oh yeah, it it tastes really good. I call it Green Luster because you drink enough of this baby and your body will seriously start to look radiant!

Here is what you'll need:
  • 4 large apples
  • 1.5 cucumbers
  • 7 celery stalks
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • juice of 1 lemon/lime
* makes 1 liter
