THE SMASHER

Today’s Green Juice


Ingredients:
  • 1 cucumber
  • handful of spinach
  • 4 baby bok choy
  • handful of alfalfa & radish sprouts
  • half a lime
I got the idea of pairing these ingredients after reading the amazing health benefits they provide! It was also quite handy that  I had them all at home ready to use. Here are some of the fact about each:

  • Cucumbers :  rich in vitamin A, B1, B6, C & D, folate, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. For a full list of health benefits click here
  • Spinach: excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, magnesium, folate, manganese, iron, calcium, vitamin C, vitamin B2, potassium, and vitamin B6. It’s a very good source of protein, phosphorus, vitamin E, zinc, dietary fiber, and copper. Plus, it’s a good source of selenium, niacin, and omega-3 fatty acids.   • Alfalfa & Radish sprouts: Alfalfa sprouts are rich in calcium, folic acid, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, sodium, zinc.
